Serves: 8 Prep Time: 10 Minutes Chill Time: 1 hour

Homemade Nacho Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup light sour cream
1/2 cup light mayonnaise
1 250g package of light cream cheese (softened)
2 shallots finely chopped green onions
1/2 cup chunky salsa (about 1/2 a jar, medium)
1 cup cheddar cheese, finely shredded (more to taste)

1. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise and cream cheese together well using a mixer. Add as bottom layer of dish.
2. Add in salsa and green onion pieces as a second layer.
3. Top off last layer with grated cheddar cheese.
4. Chill well in fridge for one hour or overnight as needed.
5. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy! Great Party Food!

  2. We liked this dip. Only I think next time, I’ll only use half of the cream cheese. For flavor, I added some taco seasoning, cumin (1 tsp), and chunky salsa (1/2 tsp) and I didn’t have any salsa, so I used a can of Rotel.
